Strength-Jumping Training

EVA partnered with D1

EVA is extremely excited to continue partnership with D1 for speed/strength/jumping development of EVA athletes! We have broken down the calendar year in four season that provide appropriate development for the athletes' needs.
D1 is offering this particular training for EVA specifically on three different days for the convenience of athletes/families.

Strength and conditioning program is centered around improving vertical jump and increasing power. Athletes will build lean body mass, increase power, and overall work capacity through a combination of resistance training and plyometrics while maintaining volleyball-specific endurance.

Functional Training Location:

D1 Little Rock Facility:
10 Viewpointe Cove
Little Rock, AR 72223
(near intersection of Cantrell Rd. & Sam Peck)

Why Strength/Jumping Program?

When athletes are stronger, faster and move more efficiently than their opponents, they are more likely to be successful and dominant in the field of play. Our goal is to create a team of strong athletes that move well and move well under load. All though skill work is very important, athletes looking to compete on an elite level must spend just as much time training their bodies to be stable and strong enough to handle the demands of high intensity competition.

Jumping/strengthening program is intended to :

  • Increase Vertical Jump
  • Increase Strength
  • Improve Speed
  • Increase Endurance
  • Improve Flexibility
  • Improve Self-Confidence
  • Provides a foundation of their long-term athletic development
